JBL Discus Breeding Cone

Discus females prefer to lay eggs on rough slightly slanted surfaces, because of this ceramic breeding cones are often used. JBL DisCon is a textured plastic breeding cone for discus designed to simulate a traditional ceramic feeding cone. This makes the DisCon more durable and easier to clean an a traditional ceramic cone.

JBL recommends boiling the cone before inserting into aquarium, this both cleans and disinfects the cones and protects potential eggs from infection.
